24 Hours at the Westcott

From hippies to ravers: two nights, two shows, two packed crowds filling the university neighborhood’s go-to live music venue.

Night One.  It was a late night show hosted by JJ, AKA Atria following a dubstep show at the F Shed. The venue fills up slowly following the 11 p.m. time for doors with a young audience, mostly in costume indicative of an EDM show. There’s people in masks, young women wearing next to nothing, and people wearing gloves with lights on the fingertips. Once the venue fills up and Atrilla hits the stage around 12:30, a group of people pushes to the front with hands in the air banging to the rhythm of the music.
